Whether it’s in the lab, the classroom, or the field, women and girls are making a lasting impact through their scientific contributions 👩🔬 Despite their significant impact, women remain underrepresented and often face unique challenges, particularly in STEM fields. The International Day of Women and Girls in Science celebrates their work and calls for action to break barriers preventing equal participation. To address this, the EU is funding R&I projects that focus on improving the recruitment, retention and promotion of women and girls in science. 🔹 STREAM IT aims to create inclusive educational tools that inspire and support girls in pursuing STEM careers. 🔹Road-STEAMer, The SEER and SENSE. are collaborating to develop a New European Roadmap for STEAM education, while boosting female participation in science. 🔹The goal of STEAMbrace is to establish a European-wide alliance on STEAM education for future European innovators, encouraging women’s participation.
