Inspired by the parable of the Talents in Matthew 25: 14-30, Talents x Tech is a unique event bringing together ministry leaders, founders/industry leaders and tech professionals. Our event unites these worlds by celebrating and encouraging the Church’s evolution through professional growth and future innovation. By attending, you’re doing more than just supporting an event. You’re backing a mission to build bridges, using talents synergistically to foster growth. This community values both career and spiritual journeys that propel forward the Kingdom.   • We are excited to introduce you to this inaugural event, taking place in Chicago, Illinois, on July 12, 2024. Talents x Tech aims to bridge the gap between ministry leaders, tech professionals, and entrepreneurs, all united by the common goal of using their talents for God's glory, inspired by Matthew 25. We are thrilled to announce that our website and ticketing platforms are now officially live! We would greatly appreciate your support in helping us spread the word with your congregation. Our goal is to gather hundreds of ministry leaders/congregants, tech enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs who are passionate about integrating faith into their professional lives. Here are some key highlights of the conference: Dynamic Speakers: We have an exciting lineup of approximately 20 speakers, including Rev. Dr. Nicole Martin (Christianity Today), Dr. Chris Brooks (Brown Venture Group), Lisa Fields (Jude 3 Project), Andrena Sawyer (Minority Christian Women Entrepreneurs Network), Emmanuel Brown (ChurchSpace), and more.  Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded individuals and expand your network within the faith and tech communities.   • 🌟 Introducing Karla Davis! 🌟 We are honored to welcome Karla Davis, an award-winning marketer, strategic brand builder, and passionate advocate for culture change and community building. Karla is the Group Vice President of Brand Strategy and Integrated Communications at Bath & Body Works, where she drives a unified brand narrative and enhances brand engagement and loyalty. Prior to Bath & Body Works, Karla led Integrated Marketing at Ulta Beauty, playing a pivotal role in establishing the brand’s identity and launching its first national advertising campaign. Her career also includes significant roles at Fortune 100 companies like PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, and Kraft Foods, and she began her journey in the beauty industry at Fashion Fair Cosmetics. Karla’s advocacy for diversity in beauty has earned her a place on Essence Magazine’s Pretty Powerful List and recognition as one of 25 Black Women in Beauty. She has been featured in Adweek, the ANA Multicultural Summit, and AdAge’s Retail and Media Summits. She was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement in 2020 and named to Ad Age’s 2023 Leading Women List. Beyond her professional achievements, Karla co-founded CityPoint Community Church and launched the Young and Debtless platform with her husband, focusing on financial freedom and community investment. She holds a master's degree from the Institute of Design at IIT and a bachelor's degree from Hampton University.
