Broker Smackdown II is here! Our team from #TheCouncil had a pretty strong showing in the original simulation, but now that The Council Academy is taking it to the next level, we might have to give it another go! This is a brand new competition for leaders with 7-10 years of experience, and it’ll help you sharpen your skills and make decisions that impact the bottom line in a more volatile business environment. Running a simulated agency in-person for 2.5 days is INTENSE... but I walked away with way more knowledge about balance sheets, commission structures, float, cash flow analysis, and brokerage operations. ☀ Today is the last day at #TheCouncil for many of our 2024 summer interns, and we are SO sad to say goodbye to this special group! 📅 Over the past few months, they’ve made solid, tangible contributions across our Government Affairs, Marketing & Communications, Market Intelligence, Membership and Talent Development teams. This morning, they presented to the entire staff on Gen-Z perspectives in the workplace, and what makes various industries attractive to their generation.
