⚖The US Senate's Subcommittee on Investigations has issued a subpoena to Live Nation Entertainment, seeking documents related to ticket prices and fees listed on Ticketmaster. This action comes eight months after the subcommittee launched an inquiry into Live Nation's business practices, including pricing and fees for tickets. 🤔According to the subpoena, Live Nation has failed to fully comply with the subcommittee's requests and has not produced certain critical documents. [The subpoena requests documents concerning financial data, ticket pricing guidance, business strategy, resale practices, and the company's relationship with artists and venues.] The subpoena also covers resale practices and addresses artificially inflated demand fueled by bots. ➡ Live Nation has requested confidentiality provisions for certain sensitive business documents, but the subcommittee has declined.  Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino has been called to appear before the subcommittee if the documents are not produced by December 18.
