  • 🌟 On 10/15, in Tulsa, the “Coffee with the Governor” event created a space for Chamber members and friends to engage directly with Governor Kevin Stitt, who discussed policies and initiatives impacting the community. The session offered valuable insight into the governor’s agenda and plans for the next two years, as well as the concerns and priorities of the Hispanic community. We want to thank Governor Stitt for visiting Tulsa and meeting with the Hispanic community, as well as Peggy’s Flavors and Pancho Anaya for the delicious breakfast. We also appreciate Héctor Escutia’s beautiful music and Cypress Event Center for hosting this successful event. Special thanks to the Chamber board members Tomás Barrientos, Cynthia Jasso, President Martha Zapata, and the dedicated organizing team, Diana Pennington, María Almeida, Andrea Parrado, and Maxi González. The Chamber continues connecting the community and elected officials, creating spaces for fruitful dialogue and relationship building! 🌟 #CoffeeWithTheGovernor #HispanicCommunity #Tulsa

Driving Social Change: Empowering Underserved Communities through Health and Economic Mobility

✨ Our team had a fantastic time attending the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) 45th National Convention in Kansas City, KS. We were excited to network with and learn from business leaders driving Hispanic business growth and advancing the U.S. economy. We are grateful to the Hispanic Chamber of Greater Kansas City and the Greater OKC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to cohost Monday’s After Party. TAHCC remains committed to building partnerships with regional chambers of commerce to collaboratively create opportunities for Tulsa’s entrepreneurs, business owners, and corporate partners. Together we prosper!

  • It has been very exciting for our team to collaborate with Rodrigo Rojas to continue bringing to Tulsa one of the oldest and most esteemed Hispanic festivals around. This year’s festival featured fantastic entertainment and Latin food. We appreciate the hard work of Rodrigo, the Guthrie Green, our Chamber’s team, vendors, performers, sponsors, and attendees. Until next year! Bank of Oklahoma Lorena Rivas, Esq. BCCS of Oklahoma KUTU 25 Univision Supermercados Morelos ONEOK Guthrie Green Frontera Talent

Deputy Chief Of Staff at City of Tulsa

10 years ago, my family and I created a new festival concept to celebrate our Latino roots and the vast diversity of Tulsa’s Hispanic population. We were intentional in having a multi-cultural Festival in Downtown Tulsa because it was important for our community to feel welcome and included in the vibrant downtown revitalization and to showcase the rich Hispanic culture and traditions to the broader Tulsa community. Guthrie Green believed in our vision and has been a great partner ever since! A decade later, Festival Americas Oklahoma is the premier Hispanic Festival in Tulsa and has attracted thousands from across the region, Grammy award winners, and hundreds of local performers and small businesses annually during Hispanic Heritage Month. However, our proudest achievement has been awarding $50,000 in college scholarships to emerging Hispanic leaders to further our family’s core mission of inspiring the next generation of leaders in our community. I am very grateful to my wife, kids, family, and all the volunteers and partners who have helped make this Festival what it is today! We are excited to hand over the reins to the Tulsa Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and look forward to seeing their stewardship of the Festival under their leadership! If you are looking for something to do this Saturday, please come out to Guthrie Green to enjoy the great environment and celebrate 10 years of Festival Americas!! ️️ https://lnkd.in/girBKMGP
