About us
The mission of the Urban Land Institute: Shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. The ULI Arizona District Council was formed in the early 1980s, as a direct response to the need for educational forums and events at a local level. ULI Arizona has been a statewide convener for dialogue among industry leaders, providing an unbiased and non-partisan exchange of ideas relevant to Arizona communities. ULI Arizona boasts over 1,200 members and has one of the highest member participation rates of any ULI District Council.

Happy National Hummingbird Day! Hummingbird encounters are often quick, colorful, full of energy (and excitement) and before you know it...they're gone in a flash! Arizona's diverse hummingbird population consists of at least 17 species, although many are brief migrants or only incidentally seen here. Anna's Hummingbirds are one of Arizona's native hummingbirds and one of the most common species encountered in the state. They can be seen throughout central and southern Arizona, frequenting backyard feeders throughout the Sonoran desert. Anna's are more common in the spring but can be observed year-round in most of their Arizona range. . . . . #SonoranDesert #hummingbirds
