What a week… The Women in Network Plus Autumn Event has come to an end, and it has been amazing! I feel extremely proud and privileged to have been part of it. Having the opportunity to travel to some of our offices & meet some of our wonderful members whilst shouting about all the amazing things we have acheived in such a short space of time has been amazing, thank you for welcoming us! There were a number of inspirational women in the room at all the events, but having the opportunity to listen to Hannah Harrison, Mandy Hickson & Stephanie Cawley really does make you realise that anything is possible when you have the drive to succeed. But above all, I want to say a huge thank you to my biggest inspiration Tracy Derbyshire MCIPD as without her drive, enthusiasm, passion & unwavering support Women in Network Plus would not be where it is today…I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the journey.

Our Women in Network Plus roadshows are always fantastic. It is great to spread the word across the business and meet new members. We have upped our game in relation to our guest speakers this year and in Bristol we all got to meet Mandy Hickson who is a former fast jet pilot. Only problem now is we all want to swap our office for her office ✈ Thank you Mandy, looking forward to reading your book.

Women in Network Plus: going from strength to strength in 2024 As the Women In Network Plus (WIN+) group’s Autumn Roadshow reaches the West Country, we reflect on another significant year for the network. WiN+ has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2021, with nearly 250 members now sharing their industry knowledge, ideas and workplace solutions. Network Plus Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Fowlie, says: “We are developing a culture at Network Plus which allows everybody to be at their very best in the workplace. I recently had the privilege of joining Women in Network Plus to share my Olympic experience and discuss leadership characteristics. I’ve captured a few thoughts here about ‘Becoming an inspiring leader’.

Yesterday saw our first roadshow Event for Women in Network Plus! Other than a few technical blips the Event was a success and enjoyable as usual.

Always look forward to these high energy networking sessions, I hope to see a good number of both female and male colleagues coming together to share progress and experiences. It has also come as no surprise that I have been asked to do a spot of modelling at the event so that's something extra special for colleagues to look forward to! 😱 Women in Network Plus

Today is the day we start our Autumn Women in Network Plus Roadshows. Starting this afternoon in Worsley followed by Derby & Bristol next week. Today we have a fantastic guest speaker in Hannah Harrison, our theme for Autumn Events is Health, Wellbeing & Fitness linking in with peppy and their National Fitness Day initiatives on 18th September. Network Plus have sourced some great offers & discounts to support this from local gym J Train Fitness & Online Coaching from Chlöe Amor-Hurd at BodyMynd and much more employee perks and benefits that support Health, Wellbeing & Fitness.

Only 3 weeks to go until our next Women in Network Plus "live" Event and planning is in progress. Our first one in the Roadshow will be held on Friday 6th September in Worsley. We have a fantastic external speaker Hannah Harrison and hopefully some great local businesses attending to contribute to our theme of Health & Fitness.

Spotlight on one of our Members, a member of my team and Network Plus Wellbeing Manager Laura Wolstencroft. Laura goes above and beyond in her role of Wellbeing Manager and recently attended the United Utilities Step up day representing Network Plus. Kevin Fowlie & Dave Prescott had some fantastic feedback for Laura saying that she confidently led the breakout rooms going through wellbeing sessions. Laura has taken the wellbeing agenda at Network Plus and run with it and is now projecting this externally to clients and absolutely smashing it!
