Ira Cooperman is an assurance partner in the Firm’s Melville office, the New York Metro leader of the Food & Beverage group, and a member of the Consumer & Industrial Products group. He builds trusted relationships with clients, finding solutions to help achieve their goals related to business growth, increased profitability, succession planning, and internal control issue recommendations.

For more than 25 years, Ira has worked with manufacturing and distribution companies in the food and beverage and consumer products sectors. He advises companies on a range of financial matters in the food and beverage, industrial, pharmaceutical and professional services industries, as well as private equity portfolio companies. He also has a significant background in auditing employee benefit plans.

Ira graduated from State University of New York at Albany, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
