Bangladesh stretched South Africa to the limit and almost pulled off a famous win. But the Proteas kept a cool head when it mattered most and won by four runs.

England gave South Africa a run for their money but could not beat them in the race. South Africa won by nine runs and this win did play a role in them entering the semis.

South Africa vs Nepal

Nepal threatened at one point to record the biggest upset of the T20 World Cup. Set 116 to win they looked in the hunt till the very last ball. South Africa won by a single run.

Last, but not the least was the final. South Africa were all set for a maiden title with 30 needed from 30 with five wickets left. India restricted them to win by seven runs and it was their only defeat in the tournament.
