Relive Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny with ludicrous gore!

Brutal Wolfenstein 3D is a reimagination of Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny powered by GzDoom.
The mod brings a new,overhauled arsenal and Brutal Doom v21's gore to the granddaddy of the first person shooter genre on familiar yet different maps!

-Brutal Wolfenstein v7.0
-Spear Of Destiny is fully playable now.It offers 23 levels instead of 22 as there is a new third secret map
-Ported Sgt_Mark_IV's bolognese gore code and graphics.Blood can be finally customized according the user preferences in terms
of visuals and performance.
-Reworked the graphics and code of several guns(MP40,PPSH-41,MG42,1911,Gewehr-43,Leichenfaust 1943,Luger P08)
-Recoded and readded the Panzershreck,later on renamed it M1A1 Bazooka.
-Added the Spear of Destiny as a weapon
-Tweaked several levels in terms of visuals and balance.
-Reworked player sprites and code
-Reworked Flamethrower units:they have new sprites and have headshot hitboxes,meaning that there is finally
a way to get rid off of them without triggering the explosion.Their corpse can be later on exploded as a trap.
Note that this change doesn't take effect in Uber difficulty.
-Majority of the bodies are now destructible
-Reworked difficulties.

-Finally added the previously promised new secret levels for Episode 5 and 6. E4M11,E5M11 and E6M11 are part of a trilogy now known as "Die ärgerliche Angelegenheit"
-The original E4M10 and E5M10 has been reintroduced into their original episodes respectively.
-Restored the original cave section from E4M4.
-Added a new bonus map,"Wolf 'En Doom",by DoomerBlazkowicz
-Reworked Episode 1
-Rebalanced E6M6,E6M9 and E3M9 to have less enemies on lower difficulties.
-Added a new option that completely disable reloads.
-Added new bonus maps: The Dresden collumn and Dreadful Terror
-Reworked the bonus levels menu to have a proper skill selection.

In the manual when it mentioned loading the mod with "maps with Brutal Wolfenstein in mind" what maps is this mod compatible with? Can i play the Wolfendoom maps with this mod too?
There are no mappacks compatible for Brutal Wolfenstein yet.It mostly refers to custom maps you could make in the future.
For example,BW has a guest map in the bonus maps section called "The Dresden column" that is pretty much an example of what people could make.
This mod is just gorgeous respect to you but there is one small problem. In the episode "Spear of Destiny" on the level number 5 is called "Metal Man" the main boss of Trans Grosse does not move, just stands still and does not react to the main character B.J. But that didn't stop me from completing the level. I am using GZDoom port v4.7.1 without mods. Sorry for my English, I write through "Google Translate".

Yes, I went into the big hall, but the boss Trans Grosse stands still at the door and does not move. I shot at him but the bullets went through him. And then I just walked past him and got into the elevator to finish the level. The next fight with two bosses Barnacle Wilhelm and Trans Grosse, went well without any problems. I have already reached level 13 "Window War".

Youtube.com (check the video in the link) like,this room has been tested several times during development.There is NO WAY you cannot trigger the script. That """"broken"""" Trans Grosse is not a monster actor but just a prop,hence why it doesn't shoot.He's supposed to tease you in,not making you type in "Noclip" to investigate.
It happened to me in 6.5 only when i was on god mode for some reason, without god mode it doesn't happen and they door clases as normal.
At this point i give up.Imma gonna make a quick patch where when you interact with the door,a fade in-out cutscene plays where you get quietly teleported inside the room showing Trans locking you inside.

I never bothered about these because they don't stop the mod from loading nor are treated as warnings or fatal errors.

Patch 1 changelog:
-Changed E7M5 to teleport the player inside Trans's arena,triggering a cutscene,
when you interact with the door.
-People can no longer enter the following maps without respecting the intended progression: flor10,flor16,flor18,flor19,museum.This is to force players to play Spear of Destiny as intended in their first playthrough,as i was getting people entering to the museum map,a credit map,without finishing sod first.
Once you beat SOD for good,you can pistol start each map without problems.
-disabled cheats for all difficulties.(The change map cheat still works,so don't worry pistol starters)

A true treat for all the old school gaming fans! Wolfenstein, but tenfold better! Hopefully GmanLives makes an encore review of this final version, as well as perhaps a review by Civvie11. Only a matter of time i bet! :D
I doubt it. Gmanlives got bullied into not making doom content or mods anymore and civvie 11 has a bias against brutal mods.

A reminder to not report me bugs from previous versions,like the infamous missing Hans Grosse on lower difficulties. That issue has been fixed since v5.5.
According to your release notes it was fixed in v5.6 but as a developer you do understand that items that have been previously fixed can resurface especially with something as complex as a total conversion. Without proper regression testing you can never be completely sure. I was able to recreate this issue on v6.0 today while playing co-op.
On another note - Thank for giving us a HUD that's less atrocious.
And if you read the associated docs before playing you would have realized that bw dropped coop support long ago.
The hans grosse issue is no longer present. I did testings on all difficulties and is all good.

Because of the amount of bugs of very dubious existence you've been all reporting me,i demand to get video proof,difficulty you are playing on and what gzdoom version you are using if you wanna report one or i will immediately presume you did edit something on your own version of BW,playing with an older build,using addons,playing co-op when it has been clearly stated is not supported,not using GzDoom,not following any of the recommended compatibility and so forth.
Before reporting anything,REVIEW THE TXT FILES ATTACHED WITH THE ZIP FILES!
Well, I'm not good at looking for files in depth, but the version of GZdoom I use is 4.10.0., and I usually play on the don t hurt me difficulty, but I have no problem playing without commands, thanks.
Thank you for the great work! I'm having a blast with this mod! Wolf 3D was the first game I ever played, back when I was around 4-5. This makes it much more replayable!

Unfortunately, the flamethrower seems to be even less usable in 7.0 than it already was in 6.5 - way too little carriable ammunition which is empty in a second :-/
It's designed to be used very rarely considering how devastating it can be.On Bring 'em on,tapping once on a crowd of enemies inside a room will literally nuke all of them.
It was very hard to figure out a way to balance it 'cuz i really didn't want to touch the crazy op damage 'cuz i personally hate how flamethrowers in most videogames feels very weak.

Very cool done, but I'm interested in something. From episode 3, I stopped finding black keys. It's like they don't exist. Because of this, it is impossible to find some gold lugers and secret maps in an honest way.
If necessary. GZDoom version 4.10, "Bridge em on" difficulty, mod version. 7.0 without patch.
