ABOUT
Custom heads, hairs, clothes and body for NPC.
Check screens to see what NPC's are changed.
This mod doesn't touch companions/origin characters!
REQUIREMENTS
BG3 Script Extender
You need Tav's Hair Salon for Isobel, Bex, Danis and Apikusis, Gortash hairs
You need Demon Eyes for some Tiefling characters
You need Astralities' Fantasy Skintone for Alfira skin
INSTALLATION
Use BG3 Mod manager or Vortex Manager (but BG3 is better)
Download the Main File
Now you can choose what you wanna add:
1) If you wanna change NPC appearance:
Download any optional file of the NPC that you want.
You can combine or remove these NPC files, so be safe to remove/add any NPC optional files anytime.
For example, NPC_VO_All_In_One contains Mizora without wings
but you can download Mizora with wings and put it after to get Mizora with wings
There're 2 folders that contains NPCs optional files, download folder, extract and choose any file.
NPC (groups of NPCs) — contains different groups of NPC:
NPC (all NPCs are separated) — all NPCs are separated
2) If you want heads/hair be available for Tav download NPC_VO_Tav
3) If you want armor be available for Tav download NPC_VO_Tav_Armor
The order should look like this. The main file is first and after the Main File everything else.
COMMON ISSUES:
- Missing clothes
It's not missing it's just for some mysterious reason loading models too slow
You can starts conversation to speed up process
- Muddy/missing textures
Make sure to have the latest script extender
- Floating heads/hairs
Set animation to high in settings
- Can't change makeup/tattoo
If you wanna change makeup/tattoo get the texture of your makeup/tattoo
For example let's assume you want CovenElf's Tattoo and Makeup
Make 2 copies of makeup texture and rename Skin_Atlas_Head_SHR_Makeup_A_MSK2 to
NPC_Makeup_A_MSK2 and NPC_Makeup_A_MSK3
and put into Atlas folder (create these folders)
The path:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated\Public\NPC_Visual_Overhaul\Textures\Atlas
Tattoo is the same but you need to rename it to
NPC_Tattoo_A_MSK1 and NPC_Tattoo_B_MSK1 and put into Atlas folder too
NOT COMPATIBILE WITH
Universal Armour Fixer
Any body mod that you install as loose file (for example SBBF mod), if you installed body mod as .pak its fine
And yes its compatible with Unique Tav since Unique Tav made as .pak format
