Welp, just updated my game (Steam) today for the Patch 7 Hotfix#27 update that Larian dropped yesterday (Oct.1), and I'm frickin' shocked that I didn't have to reinstall a single thing, and all my mods are still working fine (including this one!♥), woohoo! Hella nice! Big W for Larian! \o/ ♥
Yes, no action is needed if you are using Yet Another BG3 Native Mod Loader But you might need to reinstall Native Mod Loader if you use it. Alternatively, you can also install this mod through register editing in the Optional files, which doesn't require any native mod loader.
Yes, fps drops can still occur on modern CPUs in Act3 due to the well-known optimization problem. And high priority can improve input latency and overall smoothness even if it's not bottlenecked.
It's placebo nonsense. You should not alter the process priority of any game, Windows has its own rules on handling processes automatically. At best nothing will happen, at worst with Real Time priority you'll make your game and your PC potentially run worse and unstable.
Also funny that just changing the process priority would be called "CPU optimizer".
understood, thanks, game is not lagging but it freezing, and it proportional my progress, tutorial - without freezing actions, act1 some freezes becomes when u do something, act2 more, act3 almost every interaction = freezing when you do some actions, but i dont have problem with fps, its fine. I cant find fix for that, even cant seen topics about freezing
This isn't necessarily true, but it does have a lot less dramatic effect than advertised in many cases. If you have other processes eating up the CPU (lots of other apps open and on stand-by) then high priority is about the limit of what will help (real-time is not a good choice ever). Depending on the system it'll basically just be a small fps/stability bump in CPU heavy sections. Not a lot, but sometimes you only need a 1 or 2 fps bump or a small reduction in your 1% lows for a much better and smoother experience.
some say this is placebo nonsense but y'know what in Act 3 i had absolutely dreadful performance the game was a slideshow. then i install this and guess what it's nice n smooth like it was in Act 1 & 2. you're the coolest <3
Unfortunately this mod still doesn't fix my crashing problems with DX stuff. I've tried everything including contacting Larian support for this problem. Them I came across which I thought would solve my problems but nope, the crashing still exist.

WOW , I'm absolutely blown away by so many stunning responses the mod received in just its first day!
Thank you all so much for the amazing support! 🤗
Thank you for such a good mod! Also, this doesn't happen to conflict with WASD movement, does it? Because, it no longer works in my game now.
Nevermind! Just had to reinstall the Mod Loader.Again, THANK YOU for this hella essential mod, boring3! \o/ ♥
