Goals
The goal of this mod is to modify the Ranger calls so that it uses the optional features presented in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything.
Installation
- It is best to use this mod with a fresh character or a character who has been respect to a different class before installing this mod and its options.
- Respecing a Ranger character build with the base game features will crash the game. To work around this you must first respec the character to some class other than Ranger before adding this mod.
- When upgrading from v1.1 to v2.0 of this mod you need to respec your character before installing the mod to avoid a crash.
- When going form Level 2 to 3 if you have have Speak with Animals as a known spell and attempt to retrain the spell you will loose access to both the Primal Awareness and Actual Spell. (This has kind of been worked around by adding a Once Per Long rest free cast of Speak With Animal).
- Favored Foe, Tireless, and Nature's Veil will not recharge when using an Illithad Pod you must use a real long rest to regain charges.
- For Class Icons and Resource usage to display correctly in the UI Improved UI and Improved UI Assets Mods are required.
- When using the Unearthed Arcana Playtest 2: Favored Enemy Mod; you can place hunters mark on two or more targets. This can lead to a state where where you have killed one target, placing reapply hunters mark on your character, this causes the second target with hunters mark to no longer take the extra hunters mark damage until you reapply hunters mark on a new target.
- Since the choice between Druidic Warrior and Fighting Style is presented as a Subclass choice, when you get to level 3 and select your true Subclass the ability it grants do not show up on the Class tab or in the Level up Screen. You can find the features in the Common tab.
