This is a replacer, a standalone version is still technically impossible to make.
Installation: Extract the contents of the zip into your Data folder (disk:\steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data)
To uninstall the scar replacer simply delete the SKIN_Shared_Scars_MSK file in ...\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Generated\Public\Shared\Assets\Characters\_Models\_SharedAssets\SHARED_Skin\Resources
This is incompatible with the transformation into a half-illithid! The illithid veins are used by the game engine as a scar, so your old scars will simply be replaced. I'm sorry that I misled you initially. I didn't understand the topic well enough.
