This is just a small mod I made for myself. It is items that buff your Religion skill +15 and gives you Religion proficiency, plus advantage on Religion rolls.

I made this because Religion checks don't often check for what diety your character worships, so it's entirely possible to be a Cleric or Paladin, see a statue of your god or goddess.... and completely fail to recognise them. Tav's brain worm must be starving to death, the poor thing.

It is still possible to fail a check if you roll two 0s, but that's not likely.
Identifying the Blood of Lathander is hidden behind a History check, so you'll still fail that probably, this isn't a perfect solution.
If there's a better way to code it, I encourage you to share, or make your own with this as a base, more mod is good mod.

The mod adds two items:

- 'Initiate's Pendant' necklace. Must be equipped to work. So it's not a total waste of a slot it gives you +1 to Arcana as well, similar to the ring 'Mage's Friend'.

-'Initiate's Scroll' item. This simply needs to sit in your character's inventory to take effect, similar to a Transmuter's Stone.

How to Use
You will find the Initiate's Pendant item in the tutorial chest. You can just wear it, or it comes with a custom spell to summon an Initiate's Scroll item.
The pendant and the scroll do the same thing so you only need one, although their effects do stack.
You should be able to get a scroll once per controllable character, when I tested.

The scroll item is just titled as a scroll for immersion/flavour, you don't need to 'use' or 'consume' to use it, and it won't go in your scroll auto-sort bags. (It didn't really occur to me when I made it that people might understandably mix that up with the game's actual scrolls, but it's too late to change it now.)

While the scroll is more convenient as it doesn't use a slot, it is also a little less reliable as it works by applying a status to your character. You may need to drop the scroll on the floor and pick it up if it's not working. If that sounds too much stress, just wear the necklace and pull its spell off your hotbar.

I set it up like this as the scroll was causing some issues in the tutorial chest. If the spell doesn't work, I may have to make the scroll only available by SE extender console, so hopefully it suits everybody's needs.

How to Install
Install with BG3 Mod Manager.
If you are past tutorial chest, you can get into it with a mod like this or this or this.

Alternately you can console them in with script extender. The UUIDs are:

I don't recommend uninstalling mid-playthrough, as the game can crash if a character has a status applied or an item in their inventory that suddenly no longer exists.
