Ever wanted a displacer friend that also shows up in cutscenes? Well too bad. Here it is anyway.

This is just something I made myself, because evidently, I'll be the one dying on this displacer hill. But you can give it a go too if you'd like.
I don't recommend only playing a cat - as in, you should lead with at least one other origin character or Tav as the avatar, otherwise the cutscene camera tends to go all over the place.
But having a kitty hang around in the background's pretty great. Fun and funny.
!TIP: when you go to bed, don't click on the bed roll as the cat, otherwise the sleep animation doesn't play properly. And if you make them pick locks it will go full jank.
*Downed animation is really janky as well. Par for the course for something like this though.
Body 1 is albino, body 2 is russian blue, body 3 is standard. Body 4 is fawn. Summoned illusions will match the fur colour you have.
Heterochormia doesn't work, but you can have whatever colour eyes you want (kind of hard to see, might want to choose on a humanoid first). Other than that no other customization shows up.
DON'T randomize. It gives you random horns and tails you can't get rid of.
You get all the skills and passives of displacer summon and then a few more I've "converted" to work. Not because you really need them, but because whacking people in the face kind of gets old. Most skills scale with level.
Worse comes to worse, you have a humanoid disguise self spell. The one caveat is that I've picked their looks for you.
There are also hirelings!
Displacers replace the first three hirelings, all of them are rogue, outlander by default. Eye colour is really the only cosmetic thing you can change about them.
