Tweaks to the colour of Astarion's lashes, eye whites/scleras, and hair. Multiple files so you can pick your favourite, not all files edit all those assets. Does NOT affect his face! Just colours. Full release compatible. :)
To unzip (open) the .RAR files with, so you can retrieve the mod inside. Get the 64 bit windows download at the top of the page. Any archive unzipping program should suffice - does not have to be 7-zip - but I give this as an example.

Astarion Colour Edits
Tweaks to the colour of Astarion's lashes, eye whites/scleras, and hair. Multiple files so you can pick your favourite, not all files edit all those assets. This mod does not edit the texture of his face, it is just some recolours, the face retexture in the previews is a completely separate mod by soriyumi, it is not part of my mods edits.
There is a link to that other mod in the recommended mods section, if you want to try it out, though. :)
My mod does work with the full release for anyone wondering! It's also compatible with early access, if you haven't had the chance to upgrade to the full release yet.
Installation Use an archive extracting program such as 7-zip to unzip the .ZIP file or .RAR file - whichever the download gives you - (right click on the .ZIP or .RAR file > 7-zip > extract here), then drag the "Public" folder (with it's subfolders still inside of it) into the Data folder of your games installation. If you are on steam to find this folder you can just right click on the game in your games list > properties > go to the local files tab > press the browse local files button, it should open the game directory and you should see the Data folder there.
For expected results, please double check that you have put the Public folder for my mod directly within the Data folder. And please avoid putting my mod in a folder called "Generated", as my mod does not belong in the Generated folder, and will not function if you put it there.
Uninstallation Just delete the files. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Conflicts Only pick one version of this mod, otherwise you will experience conflicts since they edit the exact same file because that's where the colour values for these edits of Astarion are stored.
This will also conflict with any other mod that edits the _merged.lsf file that is contained within the [PAK]_Astarion folder. Many mods come with files called _merged.lsf , but those shouldn't conflict as long as they are not the same exact file from that specific folder.
So any mods that edit the stuff like Astarion's lash colour, his eye colour, his brow colour, and his hair colour will conflict.
It should work with retextures to Astarion's face, however, which are different to colour edits, as well as being compatible with retextures of his clothes or body.
Recommended mods You do not have to use this mod alongside any other mods if you don't wish to, but in the first 9 screenshots pictured, I am using the Astarion Tweaks retexture of his face from soriyumi's companion and npc face texture tweaks mod. You should be able to use this mod for Astarion alongside mine without issue, if desired.
Try out the fileAstarion Tweaks 3.0 from the old files section of that mod if you want to have the closest look to the face retexture used in the first 9 screenshots.
Other mods used in those same first 9 screenshots include the eye textures and lashes tweak file from that same mod. The V1 vs V2 comparison screenshots of my mod are unmodded except for my own mod.
Another recommended mod is Nyethux's long black hair for Astarion mod, although it's not pictured in any of the screenshots. If you want to use that mod with mine, though, you will have to go to your Data folder and replace one of the files from that mod with the one from my mod. The (wherever you have baldur's gate 3 installed)\Data\Public\Shared\Content\Assets\Characters\Character Editor Presets\Origin Presets\[PAK]_Astarion\_merged.lsf file.
Credits soriyumi for helping me with what file to edit and working out how Kittentails for telling me what pak .lsf files are in and editing screenshot Norbyte for unpacking tools Nyethux for the colours used as reference for the darker hair (check their own mod)
