MOD CONTENT:
- 45 new valuables spread out randomly all across Faerûn!
- These items serve no purpose other than to be sold to vendors.
- Distributed to containers that typically don't have anything useful in them (Crates, Sacks, Barrels, Bookshelves, Skeletons, etc). Doesn't touch containers that usually do (Bosses, Chests, etc).
- Three possible rarities (Uncommon, Rare, Very Rare) with values to reflect them.
- Rare items start appearing at level 3+ while Very Rare starts at 6+.
- Optional plugin adding the items to my Sceleritas Fel's Coffers of Forlorn Treasures mod.
HOW IT WORKS:
Just simply check containers in the world. They can spawn almost anywhere, even containers that are normally empty. Odds vary depending on the container type, but the average odds are 6.67% for Uncommon, 4% for Rare, and 2% for Very Rare. Books have around double the odds to be distributed in bookshelves. It is entirely possible to find multiple valuables in a single container.
Very Rare books (Signed First Editions) are unique, meaning they will only be distributed once across an entire playthrough.
Like all mods that add to the TreasureTable, items will not appear in containers that have already been generated before the mod was installed. Ideal for new playthroughs.
COMPATIBILITY:
If using Mark Books As Read the first edition variants of books will lose their rarity if you've read the book before. This won't affect the value but can make realizing a book is a first edition less obvious. Be sure to check the names of books in containers if using these together!
INSTALLATION:
- Place the .pak file in your mods directory (AppData/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods)

- Enjoy!
