Quick and dirty bandage of what is apparently one of BG3s oldest bugs. This should be considered a temporary fix until Larian pushes an official one.

Requires Script Extender!

HOW IT WORKS:

After recruiting Minthara in Act 2 and saving the grove in Act 1, you've probably noticed that the NPC Cerys joins every single encounter from then on, even into Act 3. She'll even become hostile during Halsin's questline which can lead to the entirety of Last Light becoming aggressive. A rather game-breaking bug that Larian still hasn't managed to correct.

Well until they do, I've gone and made a quick fix using script extender. What it does is simply flag Cerys as being unable to join combat, preventing her from joining any encounter after the mod is installed. Not the most elegant solution but it works.

While looking through Reddit for potential fixes I found people saying Zevlor does the same thing so I've made a mod that does the exact same for him as well. Needs Testing!!

I suggest only installing the Zevlor mod AFTER you start experiencing the bug with him.
Installing it before then can cause issues in Act 1!
If you intend on using Zevlor in the final battle be sure to reactivate him beforehand!

If you need to re-enable combat for these two NPCs for whatever reason, there are two optional downloads as well that will undo the changes. Make sure to uninstall the main mod before enabling this!

Technically you can install the mod, make a save, and then remove it and it will still apply. The change is applied permanently to the NPC, hence the need for a separate mod to reverse it.

INSTALLATION:

• Install BG3 Script Extender
• Place the .pak file in your mods directory (AppData/Larian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/Mods)
• Enable the mod(s) using BG3 mod manager
