Changelogs
Empyrean is an astral-themed longbow that grows with you throughout your adventures. Without any investment other than leveling up, Empyrean's weapon enchantment will scale according to player level:

Levels 1-3: +0
Level 4-6: +1
Levels 7-9: +2
Levels 10-12: +3
Levels 13-16: +4
Levels 17+: +5

However, the real power of Empyrean is in its ability to be upgraded as your travel and explore the world. Please see the images tab for in-game screenshots of what each ability does.

Empyrean can be found in the tutorial chest on the Nautiloid, or sold by Arron in the Grove. Alongside it is your upgrade tool, the Spellfire Siphon. As you find your upgrade materials, they will all be combined in the Spellfire Siphon to upgrade Empyrean. Please see the below spoiler for information about where all upgrade materials are located.

All variants of Empyrean come with the spell Astral Guidance, which allows you to choose which ability score determines your attack and damage modifier, at will. All variants also have a toggleable VFX.

Empyrean was designed with a higher powered game in mind - level curve unlockers and difficulty mods. In normal difficulties, you may find this weapon very overpowered. Feedback on balancing is greatly appreciated.

Note on Zenith (Legendary Empyrean action):

Due to the way the resistance ignore was coded, you have to cast 1 spell to unlock Zenith itself, and then cast Zenith. Both have a cooldown of 1/LR, so be sure you want to cast it before you use the unlocker spell.

Upgrade materials for Empyrean can be found in the following locations:

Very Rare Upgrade Gems:

Since the weapon is meant to grow with you throughout your journey, it is best to download this weapon for a new game, otherwise you won't be able to upgrade it if you've passed certain points in the story.
