This will never come to Nomad. It uses custom VFX from the Unity VFX graph which Nomad literally can't physically run because they are incompatible, even with scripting.
This is it. The wait for Gravity Reforged 2 is finally over. I've been working on this and improving my skills since around the first week of February. Including fire, gravity, lightning, and even a secret merge with completely custom, hand made visual effects. This is definitely my biggest and best mod so far. The spell alone is just buffed gravity with a few new effects, but the merges are where the real fun begins. Watch the video to see them in action.
Another update: I found and fixed a bug causing massive error spam and disallowing the player from using the book or map. Please download this version if you already have the mod, it'll make life 10,000 times easier if you've been experiencing those things. It was caused by the spell wheel orb, so the spell wheel icon has been remade.
In case you don't feel like watching the video, here is a summary of the 3 merges:
- Gravity merge disables gravity map-wide and lifts objects into the air for a short period. It actually has a casting cooldown so you can't spam it.
- Lightning merge is supposed to be an impulse beam, but it seems to push NPCs while sucking in objects.
- Fire merge is a powerful impulse explosion which pulls objects into it and smashes them together.
The secret merge only looks cool and contains an unused VFX demo effect I created. You will need to find whatever spell it is.
Yes, this will still technically be a reskin, but I am trying to make it as unique as I can. I plan to update a few mods and move on to event linkers and eventually scripting following the release of this mod.
Repeating certain things may cause a lot of lag, which I can not fix without removing stuff.
