Refines the hard landing and knockdown animations by speeding up the recovery times, retaining player control, and preventing weapons from unequipping.

Tired of the long, momentum-breaking, hard landing and knockdown animations but you want to keep fall damage? Or tired of losing player control in a gunfight when you touch a piece a barbwire? This mod is a simple redscript file that aims to improve these gameplay mechanics.

What This Mod Does:
  • Allows player to recover much quicker after hard landings and knockdowns
  • Prevents losing player control while recovering
  • Prevents knockdowns from barbwire
  • Prevents weapons from unequipping after hard landings and knockdown

What This Mod Does NOT Do:
  • Prevent hard landing, barbwire or knockdown damage
  • Prevent death from really hard landings
  • Prevent knockdowns and speed up recovery from getting hit by vehicles


Known Issues/Glitches:
  • Unequipping an equipped weapon immediately after a hard landing will show the hard landing animation for a couple seconds. Just don't unequip a weapon the first couple seconds after a hard landing to prevent this.
  • Moving immediately after hard landings or knockdowns also looks a little glitchy for a couple seconds
  • Player control is still temporarily lost right after getting hit by a vehicle.

Installation:
  • Download and install redscript (>= 0.5.24)
  • Download and extract this mod into your root Cyberpunk 2077 folder


Notes:
  • This is the very first mod I've created, so please keep in mind that I'm still learning the ropes of CP2077 mod creation and there could be more issues than I stated above.
