Every time you get a proficiency point in crafting or techie, you also get an attribute point for technical ability!

Due to the profession overhaul in 2.0, this mod is only for game version 1.64 and older.

it's probably just because i don't get the whole techie gameplay, but i found technical ability to be a very utility oriented skill.
that's why i wrote this script, which grants you an attribute point for technical ability every time you level up the proficiencies (which you level by crafting or using tech weapons)

if you want to catch up to the attribute level with your existing savegame, you'll need to use the console (using Cyber Engine Tweaks): Game.SetAtt("TechnicalAbility", AMOUNT)
(remember to subtract 1 from your proficiency levels because they start at 1)

if you only want to gain attribute points every second level (on even levels), change the variable grantAttributesEveryXCraftingLevels to 2
if you don't want to level technical ability with techie progress, make sure to set grantAttributesFromTechie to false or set your grantAttributesEveryXTechieLevels to an amount you find fair

i made sure you can level your proficiencies beyond the attribute level. if you disable grantAttributesFromTechie, the techie proficiency will not be able to do this.
