About this mod

A patch for 'Milk That Brahmin' and 'Wastelander's Cookbook' to make the latter use fresh milk from the former.

Boo and hiss if you must for me using this word, but I am a huge fan of immersion.  To that end, one of my favorite mods in my load order is "Milk That Brahmin - A Milk Mini-Overhaul" by Testudini.  I also enjoy variety, which is why another favorite is "Wastelander's Cookbook" by Lunarion Silver.

*HOWEVER*

I made this mod/compatibility patch for a few reasons:

1. I was getting up at the crack of dawn and milking my Brahmin like a good little lad, but could only drink the milk, as no vanilla recipes called for it as an ingredient.
2. I was finding (thanks to Wastelander's Cookbook) gawd-knows-how-old bottled Brahmin milk everywhere.  Granted, this made it so that I could give those poor irradiated teats a break, but I can't stand spoiled milk and I'm pretty sure that 210 years past the 'Best By' date can make that particular moo-juice pretty damned rancid.
3. I found that the recipes in Wastelander's Cookbook called for moo-juice, but it was the curdled kind, not some that had been freshly squeezed out of a cow.
4. After crafting several items without looking to see what the workbench was scrapping, I suddenly had zero bottles to milk with.

Enter this mod.

I have made three different versions, to suit the tastes (sic) of my fellow calcium connoisseurs.  All three make the milk bottles un-scrappable so that the workbenches don't eat them all willy-nilly like they often do.  They will still break as per MTB's random chances though.

* Plain Moo Juice - Just changes the applicable WCB recipes to use MTB's Pasteurized milk
* Chocolate Moo Juice - Changes the applicable WCB recipes to use MTB's Pasteurized milk and removes WCB's milk from the leveled lists, making it rare again.
* Strawberry Moo Juice - Changes the applicable WCB recipes to use MTB's Pasteurized milk and replaces WCB's milk with MTB's Unpasteurized milk in the leveled lists

All three versions use the same ESP name, making it so that you can swap options (be sure to update your merged patch) on the fly without tanking your savegame because the game is looking for chocolatemoojuice.esp when you have plainmoojiuce.esp loaded now.  It is just moojuice.esp.  To make it ultra-easy for you to see which one you are using, I have utilized the description field in the file header, so a mouseover in your mod manager (I use MO, not sure if this works for NMM or others) of the plugin should show you the header, allowing you to remember whic version you have installed.

Bonus: I use a sorting mod of my own design (not ready to be published though), but have made three optional versions available for people who use Valdacil's Item Sorting, which keeps his naming scheme (and DEF_UI stuff as well, I assume) and other changes to the now unscrappable bottles intact.  This is *just* for the bottles, mind you, which is the only inventory item that this mod changes.  You'll have to look elsewhere for VIS patches for MTB or WCB.

Installation:

First off, Moo Juice *requires* both "Milk That Brahmin" AND "Wastelander's Cookbook" to function and it will probably CTD without on or both of them.

Next I'm not sure if FO4 cares about the order of masters as much as its predecessors, but the order that this mod was built with is:

Fallout4.esm
...
MilkThatBrahmin.esp
Wastelander's Cookbook.esp
moojuice.esp

Other than that, installation is super-simple.  Any mod manager can do it, even the built-in one (I'm guessing).  If you are installing mods manually, I'm gonna assume you know what you are doing.

This patch uses -0- scripts of its own and doesn't even call to any scripts from anywhere, so I don't forsee it 'baking' into any savegames, meaning you *can* uninstall it mid-playthrough, but Fallout 4 is still gonna gripe about a missing plugin if you do, so be prepared.

Recommended mods:

Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer (CBBE) - Milk does a body GOOD.  Really, really good, depending on your preset.
New Recipes - Moar foodstuffs! (Doesn't use milk though)
Choice Chopped - Even moar foodstuffs! (It doesn't use milk either, sadly)
War Of The Commonwealth - If you are wondering why, glance at the picture below and imagine Jon asking "You ever milk a Brahmin, man?  You ever milk a Brahmin while UNDER FIRE?  Really intense..."

The header pic for this file is "The Milkmaid" by Lucas van Leyden and was drawn in 1510. A bit 'dated' I know, but both of them look like Preston has sent them to help waaay too many settlements, so I thought it was fitting.
