PBCF Version 2.0 is designed to work with Game Version 1.10.80 or Higher
If you have any issue with textures missing and can't update to the latest version try PBCF version 1.05
If you like the Screen Modification don't forget to endorse Immersive Pip-Boy Cracked-Broken Screen by ArinBane
Also take a look at Holoraphic Pip-Boy 8000 by turetu, i helped him develop the modification of the color in-game and added a Compatible Version with Pip-Boy Customisation Framework.
Best Used with a compatible Textures pack see the Post Tabs for the list.
\\ == Introduction == //
Pip-Boy Customisation Framework give user more freedom to modify their Pip-Boy's appearance at the armor workbench when a compatible textures pack is installed, otherwise you still can modify the its appearance of the screen or add one of the available Misc mods or with existing Creation Club Content..
If used by Mod Authors it will allow them to easily make stand-alone Pip-Boy's that are also compatible with other Stand-alone Pip-Boy's that use this Framework.
\\ == New Contents == //
- Over 180 Dynamic Naming Rules for the Pip-Boy
- New Playable Pip-Boy, that can be sold, dropped or given to follower.
- Ability to buy new Pip-Boy's
- Ability to craft new Pip-Boy's
- Configuration Holotape
- Order of attach-points Uninstaller Ingestible
- Order of attach-points Repair Ingestible
- Equip Vanilla Pip-Boy Ingestible
- Pip-Boy Flash-light 5 Compatibility
- Legendary Modification Compatibility
\\ == First Load == //
The mod will start only once you first opened the Pip-Boy Menu and you will receive 1 copy each of the mod ingestible and the Configuration Holotape
If lost the Ingestible and the Holotape can all be crafted for free at the Chemistry Station, while the ingestible can also be re-obtained from the Holotape
Once all is intalled go to the nearest Armor Workbench and you will be able to modify the Pip-Boy. If no textures pack is installed only the Creation Club Textures, labels, Screen and Misc slots will be activated.
\\ == Removing the mod == //
01 - If you equiped a custom build Pip-Boy yse the PBCF Equip Vanilla Pip-Boy ingestible found in Aid
02 - Use PBCF Order of attachpoints Uninstaller found in Aid
03 - Remove all PBCF Files.
\\ == Modifications Slots == //
This Framework add 9 modifications slots to the Pip-Boy, 17 if we count the Category that serve to filter the list of available options for the Modifications Slots that it represent. Below is the list of all the available modifications slots.
- Category - Overwrite
- Theme ( Paint multiple sections at once, Creation Club Paint can be found here. )
- Category - Front :
- Front Paint ( Front Shell Casing Paint/Colour )
- Category - Back :
- Back Paint ( Armband Shell Casing Paint/Colour )
- Category - Labels :
- Labels ( Decal Colour/Style )
- Category - Background :
- Background ( Images for the screen )
- Category - Screen :
- Screen ( Condition, scratches, dust ect... )
- Category - Dials & Buttons

- Category - Knobs :
- Knobs ( Colour/Style )
- Category - Leather :

* Front Paint and Back Paint theme are managed together as Casing.
Each of the previous modifications slots can be toggled On/Off in the Configuration Holotape. While the Category slots are presented before the modifications slots that it help filter,it should be remembered that it is actually a child of said slots.
Exemple: “if i turn Off Front - Paint while Category - Front is still on it nevertheless won't show when modifying the Pip-Boy at the Armor Workbench”.
