In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. Holy Terra, throne world of the Imperium of man, has been under siege for over 200 years. The forces of Chaos, various gangs and roving bands of Techno-Barbarians, Orks, Necrons, Tyranids, and all other manner of faithless heretics and xeno scum all scour and defile its sacred ground. Will you charge into battle to reclaim Holy Terra in the name of the Emperor? Or will you plunge the Imperium of Man into a new era of darkness?
Named NPC's remain untouched to minimize conflicts with mods that affect things like companions. Some NPCs such as Radstags and Wild Mongrels remain unchanged due to not having an obvious 40K counterpart.
This mod only affects vanilla NPCs and objects with the exception of the Bloodshell Mirelurk added with Far Harbor. There is a file available for people who do not have the Far Harbor DLC. New NPCs introduced in other DLCs are untouched.

FAQ
Is this compatible with-?
Probably not. If you value the changes brought about by another mod I suggest you put this one early in the load order so that the other mods can override this and do their thing.
Why make the Railroad a Cult of Tzeentch?
It's ultimately a consequence of making the Institute into the Necrons and the Brotherhood into Space Marines. I asked myself "Who would be crazy enough to actively mess with the Necrons and then proceed to destroy a Space Marine vessel?" and I determined it had to be one of Tzeentch's crazy plots.
Why not name the Brotherhood of Steel to be a specific Space Marine chapter?
You can't please everyone with this. There's Imperial Fists, Black Templars, Blood Ravens, Blood Angels, Ultramarines, the list goes on. By keeping the name to just "Space Marine" it allows the mod to work with almost any recolor of Brotherhood armor.
Why are Space Marines using Valkyries and why is it the Imperial Navy that's flying them?
I was going to rename the Vertibird to Stormraven, but then I remembered that Gunners and even the Railroad get access to them as well. It makes more sense that the Gunners, now Traitor Guardsmen, would be flying former Imperial ships rather than Astartes aircraft. Also consider troop capacity. A Valkyrie can hold about a dozen Imperial Guardsmen, but because these ones are transporting Space Marines, that's why they can only drop off a few troops at a time. Another thing to look at is the pilot in a Brotherhood Vertibird. They're never wearing armor, so I can't just call them a Techmarine and be done with it. Couple that with the Valkyrie being an Imperial vessel and thus I thought it best to assume that things are so desperate that the Imperial Navy is working in conjunction in the Space Marines.
Why are Behemoths called Gargants? Gargants are made out of metal.
I wasn't sure what else to call them. Names like Warboss and Meganob were already taken by high level Super Mutants. I could just make something up like Avatar of Gork but I'd rather use an existing name instead, even if it's not 100% accurate.
Why are Necrons the way they are?
Because of the awkward position the main story puts them in, I freely admit they're nowhere close to the metallic badasses they are in the tabletop game.
Why is the regular Pipe gun called a Grot Blasta?
I'll rename it to a Shoota if people want me to. I felt like the gun wasn't heavy enough to do the name of Shoota justice, especially with how many regular, useless Pipe Pistols you find since a pistol Shoota is really just a Slugga. And I didn't want to call it a Slugga because you can turn it into a rifle. Because the term Grot Blasta encompasses such a wide variety of trash guns, I felt it fitted the Pipe pistol/rifle's moddability well. That said, because Super Mutants utilize the weapon so much and because it's possible to stumble across a "Marksman's Grot Blasta Sniper Rifle" I'd be more than happy to change the name to Shoota if that's what anyone wants.
Why aren't the Forged renamed to Burna Boyz?
CUZ DEYZE ARE A BUNCHA OOMANS. NOT ORKY ENUFF
