About this mod
So this is a mod that adds a custom race child version of playable children without the clashing of other children mods thats adds children with missing tintings.

So playable Children alters some tinting layers to get it working without crashing upon trying into a vanilla child. That sounds great and all but it only causes more problems. It gives children npcs invalid tinting if they have any in the npc record, this causes the game to crash while trying to load these missing tintings. a patch can be made yes but its tedious and annoying. So heres a custom race version of the same mod.
This one works with orphans, diverse children and raider children without issue. A patch will still be made if needed.
So to get started, you need to get into the character creation and pick some presets, theres boys girls and ghouls to pick them with many different colored eyes to fit. After you are done you can either enter Player.Setrace HC or Player.Setrace GC. Then you will need to enter Player.Setscale 0.825. If turning back to adult Setrace Human. Do not use Setrace Player.HumanChild or Player.Setrace GhoulChild. It will crash the game
You can also craft a item to turn into one of them, which always makes u smaller. or bigger if using the adult one.
FEMALE CHILDREN USERS: Due to this being a custom race, the lipstick is forced onto the females and will be pure black unless you either take it off or change the color. If you forget to turn off the lipstick it will turn black as soon as you change the race.
PLAYABLE CHILDREN USERS: If you wanna upgrade too the custom race. You need to load up ur playable children save and turn yourself into a human then you disable playavle children and enable Custom Playable Children
Childrens Headwear will not work by default so you will need to use the patch for it. Female Ghouls comes actual female underwear textures, its slightly darker. Custom Race Children will use their own meshes and textures, they only share the texture for the head.

So you want to replace the body and hands and textures with a cbbe model? or whatever you wanna do? Well Damn Here it is.
Meshes:
Open "Custom Playable Children - Main" with B.A.E.Go to this folder Meshes\Actors\CustomChildren\Character\CharacterAssets in B.A.E. and there will be a ghoul and human folder. Pick one of them you want.
Extract the models you want to replace.
Human/Ghoul ChildBody or Human/Ghoul ChildBodyFemale
and
Human/Ghoul ChildHands or Human/Ghoul ChildHandsFemale
If you are replacing it with a cbbe model or whatever, you also might wanna replace the first person models as well.
Now get your modded model and go to the folder with the models you have extracted.
Rename your modded mesh to the name of the mesh u wanna replace then place it in the folder to overwrite CPC Vanilla Model.
Now it should show up as a cbbe model or whatever model you replaced it with.
ModdedBody.nif --> ChildBody.Nif

Textures:
Open "Custom Playable Children - Textures" with B.A.E.
Go to this folder Textures\Actors\Character\CustomChildren in B.A.E. and there will be a ghoul and human folder. Pick one of them you want.
Extract the Textures you want to replace.
Human/Ghoul ChildBody Textures or Human/Ghoul ChildBodyFemale Textures
and
Human/Ghoul ChildHands Textures or Human/Ghoul ChildHandsFemale Textures
Replace whatever texture you extracted with your modded texture. Your modded texture has to be the same name as the one you want to replace so it overwrites it...
You have to replace the texture with your model one.
ModdedBodyTexture_D.dds --> ChildBody_D.dds
ModdedBodyTexture_N.dds --> ChildBody_N.dds
ModdedBodyTexture_S.dds --> ChildBody_S.dds
