You like big guns? Think the Desert Eagle is for leetle babbies? That the Smith and Wesson Model 500 is for overcompensating teenagers? Then put that Shatner down and grab yourself the RSh-12, a giant slab of revolver that makes you a god amongst men the moment you pull it out, cures cancer in a 50 mile radius and makes everything explode like a Michael Bay movie*
*warning some or all of these may be total lies.
The RSh-12 is an enigmatic Russian revolver, chambered in a 12.7x55mm round normally used in the ASh-12.7 assault rifle, making this pistol...well, meaty. It has only 5 rounds you can shoot off, but 5 rounds from this baby is more than enough to explode not just your target but every target in the tri-state area. The mod comes replete with custom meshes, textures, sounds and scripted level-list integration! The RSh-12 also comes with a pretty massive selection of mods you can cram onto it, which include:
9 receivers
2 muzzle attachments: a compensator and a suppressor(?!)
3 grips
3 laser sights (red, blue and green)
5 tactical flashlights
6 scopes, 2 of which are see-through
4 reflex sights
9 colors of glow sight
3 "mechanism" mods, which change the RSh-12 between single-action, double-action, and automatic
10 barrel mods
9 material options NEW!
The RSh-12 can serve as a suitable late-game weapon, starting off with a base damage of 56, which is improved of course by the right perks and the application of damage upgrading receivers. The ammo it uses can be crafted at a Chem Lab under its own category, RSh-12 Ammo, but it can also be found in loot starting at level 16. The gun itself will start turning up in loot or on vendors at level 30, but has also been set up to turn up at level 25 in specific circumstances.
Regarding mods, you can change the color of the front and rear glow sights separately, meaning you can have the front sight be one color and the rear dots be a different one, so you can mix and match to your heart's content.
The standard short range and long range scopes use a crosshair texture from henkspamadres's See-Through Scopes Framework (which isn't required for this mod).
As of 1.3, the mod now has compatibility with Wardaddy's .44 animation replacer. The main file requires it, but I have provided an optional file that does't.
Along with all this, there's a unique, special version of the RSh-12 tucked away in the Federal Supply Cache located in the Glowing Sea. If you're feeling brave, seek it out. ;)
Just mosey over to the Mirrors tab if you wanna grab it.

Installation
==========
Download either manually or with NMM. If taking the former route, extract the contents of the zip file to your Data folder, then activate the mod from the in-game mods menu or via a 3rd party mod organizer like Wrye Bash. If doing the latter, once the mod has downloaded, activate it from NMM or in-game, and go on your merry way.
============
Uninstallation
============
Untick the mod from the in-game mods menu or your mod organizer of choice. Delete the RSh-12.esp and corresponding BA2s from your Data folder if you want to make a clean sweep.

Known Issues
============
The laser sight's emitter flare shows up with a black background in the inventory view. It may be solvable, but I'm yet to figure it out.
The gun acts a little weird when set to be automatic, the main thing being you go on a shooting spree if you fire while aiming down the sights, and there are no appropriate 3rd person animations. This is 'cause the animations are vanilla to the .44 and are...incomplete. Serviceable, but nonetheless incomplete, since whatever plans Bethesda had for them apparently fell through.
