I was playing Gundam Breaker 3 and had the bright idea that I should try my hand at a Custom Gunpla.  Since I had been making Gundam mods for Fallout 4, it seemed like a good idea to create my Custom in fallout 4 instead of buying a bunch of kits.  So, I present to you the....



NX-6 Avalon




This custom power armor continues with the jumpsuit system of my last mod 0080 WIAP, I've also included a custom power armor frame for those who just like to display power armor. It adds 3 variants of the NX-6, the Melee, Heavy, and Scout.  All three variants included their own weapon systems and armor addons. 




Each piece of of the power armor can be customized so you can mix and match parts from each version of the Avalon.  The prime builds for each variant are shown below.

This mod adds handheld and armor mounted weapons.

Armor Mounted:   - Requires Visible Weapons mod and Setup, see video below.

Combo (Armor Mounted / Handheld):

High Altitude Missile Strike / Scouting Gun   -  Target with the scout gun and then throw a grenade, missiles will rain down on the target.
God Hand (Standalone weapon with deactivated version attached to power armor)

Rail Gun



Important Notes:

Jump Suit System -  This power armor frame uses a jumpsuit to change the proportions of the player.  As such, a jumpsuit must be worn for the power armor frame to show up correctly.  The power armor will not display correctly if you do not first equip the jumpsuit, even if you activate the display frame.


Display Frame - I've included a custom power armor frame of the Avalon.  This can be used to display the power armor when it is not in use.  Due to the jumpsuit requirement, using a regular frame will cause the power armor to disappear when inactive.




Power armor mounted weapons - I've included several holster meshes for use with the power armors integrated weapons.  To get the most out of these it is necessary to download the mod Visible Weapons by  registrator2000

Where to find:

All items can be crafted from the Chemistry Workbench.  They can be found under the NX-6 Avalon Menu Category.



A custom power armor frame (For display and inactive purposes) can be crafted in the workshop menu under the quest items category (Artillery, Teleporter, etc.)

Due to the way the built in weapons work (Invisible guns) they can be used outside of the power armor.  I haven't had a chance to work on a way of restricting this yet.

All of the power armor parts start out invisible except for the head and shoulders.   It is expected that you will be equipping these parts on the Avalon Frame.

The holstered weapons do provide additional armor, due to the nature of the equipment.  I believe most add additional weight so there is a small trade off. 

Most of the weapons are OP.  This is due to the nature of explosions (most of the weapons uses explosions).  All of the power armor build requirements are also not balanced and are very easy to craft.

Some of the parts are going to clip when used together.   The High Caliber Cannon is especially troublesome if any of the shields are equipped.

The Damage resistance on the helm is bugged.  It says something like 4k resistance, but only adds 2k.  I'm working on adjusting it to something more reasonable.
