WHAT DOES THIS DO?  ▻ 

This is a personal compatibility patch that covers the range of Power Armor balance mods I use. SCAMP is a mish-mash of some of their names. It assumes that users are running an Unofficial Fallout Patch, Armor and Weapons Keywords and Valdacil's Item Sorting baseline. This patch ensures that the following popular mods play well with one another:

  • SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED (SAR) - Rarefies Power Armor, strengthens it and increases the cost and skill required to repair it.
  • POWER ARMOR MATERIALS AND PAINTS (PAMAP) - Divides materials and paints into separate categories so that they can be applied independently. 
  • MORE POWER ARMOR MODS (MPAM) - Allows players to craft a second misc. mod in Power Armor pieces... with steep perk requirements.
  • CONSISTENT POWER ARMOR OVERHAUL (CPAO) - In its own words, it brings "paintjob equity" to FO4's Power Armor.
  • BROTHERHOOD POWER ARMOR OVERHAUL (BPAO) - Brotherhood members will use additional Power Armor sets instead of using the T-60 exclusively.


CHANGES  ▻ 

- SAR tweak: Applied LinKueiSmoke's AR & HP formula to all vanilla, DLC and modded PA.
- SAR consistency: Started the process of removing PA loot from DLC worldspaces.
- SAR bug fix: Gave Danse his missing T-60 left arm.
- BPAO consistency: Removed the X-01 armor from Brotherhood Elders to ensure consistency with SAR.
- PAMAP tweak: Made the SPECIAL stat mods dependent on related perks and added one for Endurance.
- VIS's naming syntax for PA pieces has been updated to ensure compatibility. 
- VIS's sorting syntax has been applied to all PA mod misc items.
- UF4P's fixes (namely, to Nuclear Physicist rank 2) have been forwarded. 
- Personal tweak: Vault-Tec paint only available if you have left Vault 111 or entered Vault 81 (it won't be available if you use an alternate start
mod wherein you are not a Vault dweller).
- Personal tweak: X-01 EMP Shielding requires Science rank 1.

REQUIREMENTS  ▻ 

Make sure that the following have been installed. You only need the assets and core ESP (as outlined in the Load Order section), no additional patches are necessary.

LOAD ORDER  ▻ 

I recommend a load order similar to the following. Provided that SCAMP is loaded after the mods that it requires, you should be good to go...

HOW ARE ITEMS SORTED?  ▻ 

A few alterations have been made in order to accommodate every mod's changes. Since PAMAP gives the Photovoltaic Coating mod its own slot (and naming rule entry), I have changed the material mod naming rule to show an asterix if Photovoltaic Coating is installed at the same time as any other material mod. Also, because MPAM allows you to install a second misc. modification, a + will appear if there are two misc. mods installed at once . Hopefully these changes should prevent lengthy names. A few examples are provided below:
