About this mod

A set of bat files for convenience and fun, like: open any NPCs inventory for trade, make any NPC leave power armor without using extra mods, unstuck yourself from crafting menu, etc.

I think it's safe to assume that most of us here have finished the game MANY times over. And I think it's safe to assume that getting a little help to make the next play-through smoother and less of a chore is nothing wrong.

Yes? Yes.

So have some fun bat files for all your convenience needs. Some of them are cheaty, yep.

HOW TO USE:

Just unpack and drop the files into your main game folder where the Fallout4.exe file is, NOT in the Data folder! When in game, bring up the console, type bat followed by space and one of the commands listed below, then hit enter and watch the magic happen.

For commands requiring a character or item selected, I recommend Better Console mod that will help you make sure you clicked the right thing.

THE COMMANDS:

- exitpa --> makes your currently selected character exit their power armor without the need to use any extra mods for that. Yes, that includes Danse BUT do not use that on him before getting with him to the Prydwen for the first time. Without his PA on, he may not be able to get into the vertibird, and you won't be able to tell him to re-enter the armor because he's not a companion yet then.

- inv --> shows trade window for your currently selected character. Useful if you want to steal an NPCs outfit, for example. Or dress Elder Maxson in a sexy bikini...

- clean --> disables and removes currently selected item from the game. It's safer and more performance friendly than just disabling stuff which only makes it invisible. Just make EXTRA sure you have selected the right item before you use this one because it is irreversible!

- settlers3
- settlers5
- settlers10 --> spawns the indicated number of settles near you. If you have a big settlement and lots of workshop mods/scripts running, it may take up to a minute for them to spawn, just be patient. Remember to assign every single one of them to the settlement, too, before you start ordering them around. Otherwise they won't take your commands and will just keep idling around.

- charisma --> just ups your charisma to 50 so you can have more settlers in your settlements.

- craftstuck --> sometimes you get stuck on the crafting window when that one pesky mesh just refuses to load in the preview and won't let you exit the window. This command will 'teleport' you to your current position thus closing the craft window without the need to reload the game and losing progress.

- perksF --> sets all SPECIALs to 10 and adds all vanilla perks to your female character.
- perksM --> sets all SPECIALs to 10 and adds all vanilla perks to your male character.

- annoying --> removes two annoying perks: scrapper that ruins immersion by highlighting way too much stuff in the world, and idiot savant that gives you heart attack every time it triggers. Yes, there are handy mods for fixing those, but they don't always work and those perks aren't exactly essential anyway, so... personally, I prefer to just get rid of them to solve the problem.

- fog --> sets fog/mist/etc to appear closer to you so that there is no perfectly clear circle around player character. Makes foggy weathers and areas look much better, too. It won't stick, though, so needs to be reapplied every time you run the game.

- rez --> resurrects currently selected NPC with their AI/scripting intact so they won't just stand frozen in place but will continue doing whatever they were about to do before they died. Works MOST of the times, not ALWAYS, thanks Bethesda. Do NOT use on dismembered corpses... unless you like glitchy walking nightmares that can potentially crash your game.

- attack --> just for fun, spawns 15 LEGENDARY enemies (3 deathclaws, 3 supermuties, 3 children of atom, 3 gunners, 3 raiders) in front of you that will fight each other and you... and hopefully give you some epic loot if you manage to kill them. Again, it may take a moment for them to appear, so be patient. Also, make sure you have a lot of free space where you use it so you don't end up with ALL of them spawning inside an elevator shaft... true story:

BONUS:
by request, some useful console commands for beginner screenarchers:

set gamehour to x --> changes time of day to x hour, uses 24h system.

tfc 1 --> enters free camera mode AND freezes time, make sure to be in third person mode before using the command if you want to screenshot your player character, type tfc to exit the mode.

sucsm 3 --> significantly slows down camera movement in free camera mode for precise positioning, experiment with higher/lower numbers for higher/lower speed.

fov 30 --> changes fov to allow undistorted close up screenshots of faces (to get it back to normal, use the command again with your default fov value).

ENJOY!
