This mod fixes a bug when weapon reloading speed resets to what appears it's default animation speed values after player enters/exits power armor or equips throwable weapon.
While this is not always very noticeable, in some cases, for example if you have quick eject mag attachment installed and quick hands perk unlocked, this bug will dramatically slow down your reload speed.
And if you're using some mod to make reloading slower, this bug will instead speed up reload speed to default values.
Most obvious way to fix this bug in vanilla is to re-equip your weapon, but obviously this can get annoying if you often get in/out of your PA suit, so I created this mod.
This mod uses very simple event-driven script
Starting with 2.0 it will instead equip a dummy consumable to seamlessly trigger reload speed update with no side effects (like re-equip animation or ammo count reset).
However if you're equipping throwables with hotkeys and have weapon unholstered obviously you will see weapon re-equipping animation, but hey, its still way better than suffering from this annoying bug, isn't it?
If you know any other scenarios when this bug happens, please tell me in comments and maybe I will try to fix them too.
Starting with 2.0 the fix also triggers with race switching event which doesn't seem to happen that often in vanilla but is used by some mods like Workshop Plus.
Install with your favorite mod manager or simply copy esp and Scripts folder in [game folder]\Data and enable esp file in game options.
To uninstall on ongoing playthrough load the game with the mod, open console and write stopquest hzrsfquest, hit enter then make a save, delete mod's files and continue to play from that save.
To do a clean save update uninstall as described above, load the save you've made when uninstalling, overwrite it with the new one, then install the latest version of the mod and continue to play from the latest save.
This mod does not change any vanilla records or files and does all its changes by a script so it should be pretty compatible with anything.

You can use this mod or parts of it for whatever you want as long as you're not selling it and as long as you credit me in a readme.
