Update 2.0:
It's here and it's definitely not what I set out to do. There's just so many problems that arise from making hands smaller that you wouldn't realize until you spend hours messing with it. For instance the wedding ring clips, which means I'd have to edit either the hands to fit the ring, or the ring to fit the hand. Not to mention the clipping issues from holding guns. This update is gonna look more like the original hands than anything. It's very disappointing to me, but until Nifskope actually saves the changes to hands then I'm probably not gonna release another update for a while. It's just too much work for such little gain. I was thinking about editing the BoneScales.txt so that the hands scale properly with the body, but that's beyond my skill level, just like this mod is.
If you like the first person hand meshes from the original mod more than 2.0, you can overwrite with the one you like, or for third person vice versa.
Description:
After spending the better part of a day and most of a night, and then the next day. Messing with nifskope, installing blender and even 3dsmax at one point, nothing worked except Outfit Studio. I finally ended up making the vanilla male hands smaller. lol
I always felt like they were too big, I'm not playing Fable after all. They're a little bit skewed, someone else can fix everything if they're up for it.
To install place the Meshes folder in your Data folder, located the same place as your Fallout4.exe. Or use a mod manager. To uninstall delete MaleHands.nif and 1stPersonMaleHands.nif from "Fallout 4\Data\Meshes\Actors\Character\CharacterAssets"
