This is SMM menu and VIS-G replacer patch for people who want their workshop and inventory category to be safe, clean and organized.
- All the credits to the author.
- You will of course need to download the original mod and VIS-G.
SMM (Settlement Menu Manager) is one of the safest ways to accompany custom settlement workshop mods.
- Since I learned how to make custom menu replacers for some popular mods thanks to SMM Tutorial.
- I decided to test them out and share them with people who don't have time or don't know how to do it.
The following is a list of structure that I reorganized in the patch for anyone who wants know before download.
- Note: Used duplicated vanilla workshop icon for all to avoid possible missing icon on users' end.
General Changes:
- Weight of items in AID,MISC, JUNK, MODS and AMMO tabs of your pip-boy inventory unless certified have all changed to 0 to compatible with VIS-G game style.
- Use "{Mod} Main Crafting Menu in Chem Stataion" naming with icon effect for better vanilla and custom crafting distinction.
- Download my other VIS-G replacer patches for better grouping experience. Check the images for references.
Patch Specific Changes:
- Move all deployable turrets to "{Mod} Deployable Turrets Pack" in chem station.
- Move all workshop turrets to "MainMenu-->Deployable Turrets Pack".
- Renaming all deployable turrets to "{Mine} XXX".
- Renaming "Repair Kit" to "[Too] Repaire Kit".
- Renaming holotape to "[Settings] Deployable Turrets Pack Settings".
- You will have a associated icon if you have VIS-G.
For anyone who needs help.
- Make a clean save and try again.
- Try the SMM setting holotape.
- Watch out for keyword cap. Check SKE for detailed solution.
- Check file integrity, check load order and make sure no mod conflict.
- If using Vortex, remove old one, repack replacer and reinstall just to be safe.
- Test a new game. It may not appear correctly in a exsiting save due to change of keywords.
- I have tested many times while save and load with different circumstances. They are all apear to be fine.
- Finally, modding is unique to every individual. There are too many varibles. You have to be the master of your fate.
- If you are confident that you have found the cause of the issue, please let me know. I am happy to learn and converse with you.
Thank you for your visit and please have a nice day.
