This is a patchmod for Desert Eagle - Standalone Handgun uploaded by DOOMBASED.
This mod adds a new type of WeaponMods => AmmoMod (13 new + 4 old/changed) for all three types of caliber.
If you would like to shoot ammo type: Cryo, Acid, Explosives,..., or specially created against Ghuls. This is a mod for you.

This patchmod uses the rules from my Weapon-Armor_Rebalance mod,
regarding to the amount of damage and the amount of other related modifiers.


This mod is above all a test object of my new concept. It is still somewhat clumsy, but fully functional.

  • I changed the concept of  Receiver/Caliber to Receiver/Caliber/AmmoMod. Receiving 5 types of Receivers, 3 types of weapons caliber, and 18 types of "ammo" modifications. A total of 270 combinations.
  • None of my modifications is as powerful as the legendary modification, and it freely combines with any of them. All bonuses add to each other. There are no conflicts.

  • I added the option of blocking the possibility of accidental scraping weapons. Yes I know some mods do it too, there should be no problems, only a double possibility of this option.
  • Yes, the opponents will also use these modifications, as well as should appear at the sellers.
  • The weapon also has my new naming system, if someone does not like it, he can always change it himself in the script, it's just one link to change.
  • I understand that the requirements for certain modifications can be overwhelming, but if you do not want to try to fulfill them (create, buy or move from another weapon), you can always use the console.


I'm still looking for better names for some "ammo" modifications.
With such names as hardened, powerful or advanced, in the first place, any suggestions are welcome.


If you have an idea for other interesting and sensible types of ammunition, I am open to suggestions.
If something is wrong with current types, I am open to suggestions.


I changed the weapon modification schedule slightly:

  • Receivers:
    • Standard
    • Light   (it does not change the damage, but it significantly affects the recoil of the weapon)
    • Heavy   (it does not change the damage, but it significantly affects the recoil of the weapon)
    • Hair Trigger
    • Calibrated

  • Ammo Caliber
    • .44  (base 52 damage)
    • .50  (base 64 damage)
    • 10mm  (base 32 damage)   (I made a change from .38, because for me this ammo caliber offends this weapon.)

  • Ammo Mod
    • Null
    • Hardened  (formerly hardened receiver)
    • Powerful  (formerly powerful receiver)
    • Advanced  (formerly advanced receiver)
    • Armor Piercing
    • Cryo  (causes extra cold damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Energy  (causes extra energy damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Explosive  (causes extra fire damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Fire  (causes extra fire damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Poison/Acid  (causes extra poison damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Radiation  (causes extra radiation damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Shock  (causes extra electrical damage, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Vs Animal  (causes double base damage vs animals, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Vs Bugs  (causes double base damage vs bugs, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Vs Ghouls  (causes double base damage vs ghouls, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Vs Humans  (causes double base damage vs humans, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Vs Robots  (causes double base damage vs robots, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)
    • Vs Supermutants  (causes double base damage vs supermutants, the value depends on the caliber of ammo)


If you use Item Sorting Mod (Vis or Vis-G), the appropriate versions of my mod can be found in the Download option.

If you use DOOMBASED Weapons Merged (Weapon Pack), the appropriate versions of my mod can be found in the Download option. However, they only modify the Desert Eagle weapon.
