About this mod

Forgot to set your scrapping mod to manual and now you don't have a straw pillow for that boater hat you really want? Not any more! Scrapping mod hasn't got a manual option? No worries! Changes the crafting recipes of Retro Fashion to work with any and all junk scrapping mods.

If you're anything like me, you use a mod that scraps junk the moment you pick it up. I personally use this mod, and while it does have an option to turn auto scrapping off/to manual or even to remove items from the auto scrap list if you know what you're doing, I often forget to turn it off. I also don't feel like scouring the wasteland for a straw pillow to  make a boater hat, when I should reasonably be able to make a straw pillow from scratch or, as this patch allows, use razorgrain instead.

What this mod does is that it takes all the junk items in the crafting recipes and switches them out for their scrapped counterparts, with an eye for realism where necessary.

For example, the boater hat originally cost one cloth and two straw pillows. Straw pillows break down into two cloth, but boater hats are cloth and straw, so I replaced the straw pillows with razorgrain. Now the boater hat costs one cloth and two razorgrain.

The flight suit costs two leather, one Abraxo Cleaner, five cloth, and three Yao Guai Hide. Yao Guai Hide breaks down into four leather. We don't need fourteen pieces of leather* to make a flight suit. So I adjusted the recipe to five cloth and five leather, with no more need for Abraxo Cleaner, since the hides have been removed from the recipe.

*Twelve from the hide plus the two from the rest of the recipe.

I also did this with the crafting recipes that required clothing items, which removed not only the need to locate them in the wild first*, but also the need for Abraxo Cleaner, since there's no longer any clothes to clean before modifying them.

*or spawn them in with the console. I won't judge.

Mod is an ESL, so it won't take up a slot in your load order. Retro Fashion is an ESM, so it will load before this patch by default. There should be no reason to worry about load order.

Other mods of mine:

Spaaaaaace - A Lockpicking Interface Retexture - Now with even more texture options, from camo to Vault-Tec! Solid colors now available!

Spaaaaaace II - A Garage Screwdriver Retexture- Child mod to the one above. Takes the textures from there and converts them to replace the screwdrivers you find scattered around the Commonwealth.

You had one job Todd - Renames Codsworth to Cogsworth - edits his perk and affinity messages accordingly. Optional file includes ability to rename him Toddsworth instead for the memes because I am a serious modder.

Other Clothes Treated Like Vault Suits - as this was a request from a Redditor, it only touches the military fatigues for now. It also should add vault suit lining. Other pieces may be added in the future, if there's interest.
