About this mod

A map, that presents the items added to the game by the mods SSEX and HM in comparison to each other if both mods implement the same items and decorative if the items are exclusiv to one of the mods. All items are presented sometime through a single representative or a vivid cutout of the complete stock.

In this map I wanted to present the items of the fantastic mods "Settlement Supplied Expanded" (SSEX) and "Homemaker - Expanded Settlements" (HM) in a vivid way.

The items are sorted into three categories. In the beginning you'll find all items that are added by both mods in pairs, with the item that was added by SSEX on the right and the one added by HM on the left.

Then you will come to all items added by SSEX, but not by HM. After that, the HM exclusive items are presented in the final area.

I tried to exclude items that are already added by vanilla and therefore redundant. For some items, that add a huge amount but basically are the same or very similar like chainlink fences or trees, I added one or a few representatives. Some Neon signs are added to give general guideline.

You will need a few mods for this map to work properly which are also presented in the requirements.

For the transfer I highly advise you to use the "Stable" preset of Transfer Settlements and remain standing still at the entrance of the settlement. This blueprint contains 5146 items and challenged my computer (which really isn't a toaster). The settings for the import itself are:



It is very important, that you uncheck "Restore snapped power connections". This will mess things up.

Sometimes during the import a few items are misplaced, talking about the other side of the map. I dont know why but on the second import everything was fine.

Due to the size of the map, some items "disappear" (my guess: the game disables them for performance) and in my tests dont reappear upon approach. This happens at exactly one location which is the largest room of the HM-exclusive part. To "resolve" the issue step into the room, a little past the small reactor, look towards the two trees, quicksave and reload your save. Then the items are visible again. Some neons also remind you of this ingame.


A lot of items are build outside the building zone of the settlement, so if you want to build around there, you will need to change the size of the map in xEdit to 22,000.

If a door is standing freely, that means it either didnt snap at all or it had no fitting door frame to snap to. 
If items dont snap, they were obviously placed in a way to show that. An example are the BoS barricades of HM. Those of SSEX do snap.
