Is this mod different from "Smooth First Person Sprint - Less Jerkiness and Stutter" or "FPS Boost - Sprint Engine Limitations." Should I only pick one of them? Thanks!
These mods solve the problem by reducing the sprint speed below 500 (which I personally didn't like). Sprint Stuttering Fix at the game engine level removes the 500 limit, additionally works with speed modifiers. The video shows that it works at a speed of x2 (1000).
Amazing mod. This is off-topic but does anyone know of a mod like this that works for Skyrim Special Edition? Skyrim has the same issue presented here but when I try to search up this issue I can't find a mod or solution to be able to fix it.
i assume you have this sprint stutter in 3rd person right? i have the same issue, especially when holding a weapon, but holster my weapon i got no issue
No, I use first person, but after disabling freesync in AMD panel, so far, I do not have the stutter, but I started a new game, so not sure if it will be an issue later, when I am more advanced in quests and missions.
Just the heads up, version 1.3 on a pre-NG game breaks 1st sanctuary quest "go home" as it ctds when you enter sanctuary just before "go home" quest is completed can show up version 1.2 works just fine I do have a heavy load order so it might be interaction with some other mod but it is specific with 1.3 on a pre NG game
it breaks the game in a pre NG game because that isnt the correct version of the mod to use for PreNG games. if you are running preNG games IE anything beyond game version 1.10.163, NO f4se plugins that are for newer version will work for you. Just use the correct version made for your game.
I am on a 1.10.163, NG should be this new patch from May 930 or .980 or whatever and I got the impression 1.3 was made to work with .163 too, if not my bad then thought it might be interaction with some other mod so I did not open a bug report, just gave a heads up maybe helps someone with CDTs, ill roll back to 1.2 as it worked just fine
