I took Prismatic Laser Colors from Diranar and made them unique instead of replacers. This mod adds mods for the Institute Laser Gun, the AER Laser Gun, the Laser Musket, and the Gatling Laser. All of them have unique focusers and beam splitters that change the laser color. The AER Laser Gun has automatic and sniper barrels that also change the laser color, and the Laser Musket has unique cranks and extended barrels. The Laser Musket extended barrels are purely cosmetic and do not change the beam. The particle effects, focused beam trail and ash piles match the color of the laser and do not leave the original red.
Due to the nature of how overrides work, this is the rules it has: Mod that changes projectile count priortity over last added mod that has overrides So an example would be if you installed a blue laser musket crank then a vanilla focuser, the laser beam will come out red. However, the vanilla beam splitter will always have a red projectile, but the impact effects will be that of the last mod that changes the laser beam color. I made sure new color mods change the projectile and the impact effects to match.
There is an option to install a No Muzzle option that changes the laser beam color. This is can be installed on any weapon that has the keyword WeaponTypeLaser or WeaponTypeGatlingLaser with the exception of the Laser Musket and any weapon that shares its mods. I also edited one vanilla projectile that was unused, LaserMusketProjectileLtBlue. It is now used by the LaserMusket Blue cranks. I am aware the blue glow of the crank does not match the projectile and the extended bracket, but it is closer to the institute blue color.
Credits to Diranar for making the laser beam textures.
