This mod adds in purchaseable Surplus Ammo Boxes, just like in Fallout New Vegas!
There are surplus boxes for all the main ammo types, including energy ammo & the .45-70 and 7.62mm ammos added in the DLCs (required)
Since Fallout 4 has only a single ammo type per weapon, they give regular ammo once purchased, but they each give 100 rounds (with 50/250ct pouches and crates as of v1.1) of ammo purchaseable at 80% of the price, so it's worth keeping an eye out for them, especially if you're big into barter.
Purchaseable at various general & weapons-based vendors across the Commonwealth (remember to wait 72 hours for vendor inventories to respawn), cheaper/common ammos should show up when the vendor refreshes, but more expensive/rarer ammos have a progressively lower chance of showing up (as they're rarer).
