Description
This mod adds an item that lets you craft certain items without a workbench.
The biggest difference to normal portable workbench mods is that this works instantly. You don't need to place it on the ground first and then activate it.
You probably already guessed it, this is inspired by the crafting kit from DUST.
How to use it
- Open your pip-boy, go to the section where chems and food is, and there you can find a item named "Survival Kit"
- Use this item, and close your pip-boy
- You then can craft certain items, like home-made explosives, a few aid items, and other helpful items
- Not all items from from the normal chem workbench are craftable
- You can hotkey this item like any other ingestible item, and it works
- Especially good for quickly crafting home-made explosives while exploring the frozen wasteland
- You can't use the item in combat, while sleeping, sprinting...
How to get it
- It is craftable at a chem station
- It can be found at each starting location in FROST (either in a duffle bag or on a nearby corpse)
Known Issues
- The item can be used while falling to avoid falling damage
- Using the item might enable the player to glitch through things if the player really tries to abuse it (for this to happen you need to intentionally try this until you succeed)
