About this mod
Lowers reload sound effects volume of asXas's M1 Garand and/or SVT-40 mods to be more in-line with Vanilla weapons. No more blowing your eardrums out! Don't worry, the classic "ping" you know and love is still sufficiently loud (though still slightly quieter than the original mod).

I highly recommend checking out codeblackcrash's A Bundle of Tape - Unofficial Update, it does the same thing this mod does and so much more, adding balance

I love asXas's M1 Garand mod, but the reload sound effects are just way too loud, and based on the comments there it seems like I'm not the only one who feels this way! These are simply loose files which can overwrite the original mod's sound effects. Now you can enjoy the Ping-y goodness of the M1 Garand without blowing your eardrums out.
UPDATE 1/19/22
Slightly raised the 'ping' sound effect of the M1 Garand. It's louder, but still not as loud as the original mod.
New files include lower reload volumes for the SVT-40 if you use that mod from the same author, or his "Bundle of Tape" weapon pack.
Requires one of the following mods:
M1 GARAND
SVT-40
A BUNDLE OF TAPE (includes both of the above weapons)
