Friendly Actor Configurator

An easy way to configure an actors essential, protected, and friendly hits state on the fly. Will also allow you to resurrect supported dead non hostile actors, and gives you some info on the actor(Health, Resistances, AP etc.). You can also turn any friendly actor into a settler to be send to any of your settlements, and finetune their behavior. Newer versions include all sorts of bug fixing or behaviour override functions.

What this?

In short: A debug stick that can also be used to individualize friendly non hostile actors.

Similar to a set of functions in my Skyrim overhaul mod you can configure any human, non hostile actor's various states, actor values, keywords, and faction belonging etc. The cane has a magic effect applied that will add the specific actor to an alias, and then execute its message box driven functions to said actor. But the features don't stop there. You can also resurrect the dead, get statistical information about their attributes, or turn them into a settler, and send them to any settlement you own.

You can then use the Cane to finetune the new settlers and animals etc.(aka make them applicable for supply caravans, orders, change home base etc.), or open their inventory for manipulation, and fix some notorious bugs etc. Newer versions will also introduce a set of "default" settings like setting some actors essential and/or ignore friendly hits. You can warp companions and console targets to your position, and you can push all sorts of nasty fools blocking your way in doors. So basically yeah, this mod has Moo Rage functions incorporated but they apply to virtually any actor. Notice that for non Brahmin actors you will need to sneak. I'm working on a way around this limitation.

Future versions will have a higher focus on setting things by default, since the debug stick has virtually any function I want it to have. I get that the initial scope of the mod was a bit different...or not. I just recently realized that this mod was about debugging friendly actors. I rarely use it to actually "configure" my actors in game. But for sure, some things I will indeed change when they absolute did not make any sense, like for example, why would some settlers and characters be blocked from acting as caravan supplier

What do I need to make it work?

Fallout 4 Script Extender and the base game. No DLCs needed. This might or might not change in future updates.

How do I get it?

If you start a new game you will have it added to your inventory once you'd leave Vault 111. On an existing save game it will add the cane if you've left Vault 111. Other than that, if anything fails, you can just use the console hack: "player.additem xx004C82", where the two xx's are defined by the load order ID in any of your mod organizers.

Will this be improved?

Having released more than ten versions now, I think it does get improved. If you have any specific good ideas, or wanted features, just feel free to make a request in the comment section.

Can we have an .esl?

Since version 0.5 this mod does no longer qualify to be converted into .esl.

I want to report a bug!
