Ava's life has been that of a soldier's since she was barely old enough to pick up a gun. She is my Brotherhood character—a reformed Gunner who's trying to make up for past mistakes. Years of trauma and hard living have made her a little rough around the edges, but overall, she just wants to be a better person. Her S.P.E.C.I.A.Ls favor strength, perception and endurance, and her lowest skill is charisma. I used any and all energy weapons throughout my playthrough with her, but I landed on the Gauss rifle at the end. I'm particularly proud of this preset—natural, believable, and beautiful.
I watched Deadpool 2, remembered Fallout 4's character creation allowed you to make characters with vitiligo, and kind of just went from there. I haven't actually played with her very much, but she's basically just a copy paste of her original Marvel self. I specced her with high luck, strength and endurance, and let her charisma tank to somewhat round out her other skills.
"I want an excuse to use every sarcastic dialog option available," I said, and Frankie was the result. A pistol-whipping, shotgun-blasting, drop-dead gorgeous hellcat of a woman who's here to make the Commonwealth her bitch. Frankie also has the default backstory, but she's much more stubborn and rambunctious than Alice. Her look was unironically inspired by a fanfic I read a while back—the ultimate pin-up badass, poised and ready to fuck over (or just fuck) everyone in the room. Her S.P.E.C.I.A.Ls are very well rounded except for her charisma, which is a little higher than the rest. If you tell her she can't, she's the type of person to say, "Watch me," and as a result, she rebuilds the Minutemen from the ground up, leading the charge against the Institute and their synths.
Originally a throwaway character intended to snag the Institute ending achievement, the build I used with Jacqueline made her really shine as a character and I found myself actually liking her, despite literally being made to be hated. I used the mad scientist Syringer build that's been floating around for a while now, and it made for a really unique experience. Jacqueline is pre-war, though she does not have Nora's backstory. Instead, she was a scientist—one of the brightest minds Boston had to offer before the war. Upon waking in Vault 111, she searches for Shaun not out of concern, but rather curiosity. Who was this Institute? And why was she spared? Jacqueline's S.P.E.C.I.A.L.s favor intelligence, with everything else but charisma fairly balanced.
Unhinged—that's the best way to describe Jinxx. Both her appearance and personality are heavily inspired by League of Legends Arcane character by the same name: damaged, intelligent, and just shy of batshit crazy. Jinxx is a Wastelander through and through, accustomed to both its dangers and its opportunities. She is small, but don't let her size fool you: she's a wiry bastard with her S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats focused on strength, endurance and perception. She's an expert in the art of explosives, leaving "happy little accidents" wherever she goes to cause chaos in her absence.
