Introducing the Select Guitars! Made in collaboration with Vault-Tec!
This mod adds a craftable guitar that you can put down anywhere and actually play it, chord for chord as you like. You can also craft them at your settlements.
The video below shows some of the guitar color options and how to play it!
There is a man named Scott in Bunker Hill who is selling guitars, talk to him to get it! The last photo up above shows Scott at the location. Once obtained for the first time, the guitars can then be crafted at a Chemistry Bench under GUITARS. Scott will also give you documentation on how to play each chord, the same information is in the spoiler note below. From there, the guitar will be in your AID category. Use it to put a guitar down where ever you are.
Notes: This seemed to be the best way to handle the guitars so you can actually play the order of the chords as you like them. However, there is a small delay you have to wait for between chords, roughly 0.66 seconds. If you play any sooner then the game will just play the same chord again regardless of the chord you wanted to play next.
An easy song to play real quick is Country Roads by John Denver. Play G, D, E minor, C. Then G, D, C, and G!

The left side is the Chord name and the right side is the corresponding number(s) as shown on screen to play the chord. This information is also provided in game as a Note called How to Play Guitar! in your MISC category. For console commands: 'help guitar 4 alch' or use 'setstage XanderGuitarQuest 100' to quick unlock everything for the bench.
Installs like any other mod. No DLC or Mod requirements. Install with NMM/Vortex or enable through the Mods menu in Fallout 4. FAQ!
Power Armor? No you can't play the guitars in power armor, don't even try lol
First person guitarring? No, you don't have legs in first person so I felt that would be pretty jarring to look down and not see them.
Can NPC's play the guitars? No, they don't know how to select chords for themselves so they would just sit there holding the guitar and not doing anything. Maybe I'll think of something for them.
Collections? I don't mind this mod being in Collections, but if a problem arises from someone's mod pack relating to this mod... well in short I won't be fixing it. I ain't got time for that! That's the mod pack author's problem lol.

Vanilla compatibility: This mod makes a persistent edit to one worldspace cell (BunkerHillExt) but doesn't break precombined. Mod compatibility: For mod patches, (Horizon, AWKR whatever lol, etc) contact me should you make your own for upload to the Nexus so I can post links below. For Mod Authors: This mod uses 'GUTR' or 'Guitar' as the shorthand for all form ID's and file paths. Available patches: None yet
