Description:
Digging around the 'Bugs' tab in VAFS Redux mod I came across a report from May 2021 stating that the mod wasn't calculating poison resistance correctly. The author of VAFS Redux (Itzal713) replied in Nov 2021 saying the script is actually calculating the value properly, the problem is the message that is given to the player which is missing the poison resistance variable, and he explains how to fix it.
If you want to see the bug report just check the images section of this mod, I uploaded a screenshot for convenience.
I fixed it according to his instructions and recompiled the script, I figured since he hasn't been active since the beggining of this year I should just upload it here in case others want to use it since the mod permissions allow for bugfixes to be released. It's just one script so you still need to download VAFS Redux v1.4.2
Optional:
I added an optional file which could be considered either a fix or an improvement over the original message box that appears when using the Awareness perk, it just makes the info more neatly presented. Plugin is ESL so it won't count towards your ESP limit.
Installation:
- Install VAFS Redux v1.4.2
- Install the script fix and replace the original script when asked to.
- (Optional) Install the perk info fix, load it after VAFS Redux.esp
