For a long time, I have noticed that the eyes of beauty Author's Pick does not cover all eyes in Fallout 4 and does not resemble the vanilla counterparts well enough, SpringHeelJon also has raised up an observation that most of the eyes in The Eyes of Beauty mod have an incorrectly flipped eye corner textures. Further observation revealed that the shadow texture above the eyes are low-quality and seemingly ported from Skyrim as well.


My version is a different take on the texture selection for TEOB as a vanilla eyes texture replacer, with an additional cyborg and injured eyes.

All eyes textures in this collection were indivually edited and mixed from different eye textures from The Eyes of Beauty to give a consistent, vibrant, and reminiscent of vanilla counterparts


The Eyes of Beauty - DBDR Edition
  • All diffuses textures are not simply taken from TEOB - All of them are individually edited and retouched to fit with vanilla styling of eyes textures while remaining vibrant and distinguishing from each others, some are even created from mashups of different eyes.
  • Hazy Blue Eyes (Mama Murphy's eyes) has slight jaundiced eye white similar to vanilla
  • Eyes are selected on consistency of the textures and are edited to have similar size/style
  • the 'dot reflections' in the pupil are all removed for consistency
  • Eye corner is replaced by the high quality texture from TOEB's eyes that were specifically made for Fallout 4 (e.g. Cyborgs) and not simply flipped
  • Shadow part of the eyes diffuse is replaced by high quality texture from TOEB's eyes that were made for Fallout 4.
  • High Quality eyelashes textures from Skyrim TOEB mod.
  • Incorporated Cyborg eyes and Jose Martinez' injured eyes as an 'extra to the mods'. ESP plugin is required for this - with eyesbrows standardized to TOEB more detailed Skyrim eyebrows.
  • Normal map is taken from Eye Normal Map Fix (256p but edited normal is enough to make a difference)
  • Specular, environmental mask are from SpringHeelJon's Edit

.ESP is not needed if you just want a texture replacer - However it is needed for cyborg and additional injured eyes.

Currently Ghoul eyes are not yet made - I might create them in the near future (takes a lot more effort than Human Diffuse - I want them to look great and consistent and 'textured' like Vanilla). If you want Ghoul eyes replacer right now I recommend to use SpringHeelJon's Edit or Ghastly Ghoul Eyes

I'll upload more picture later, I don't have a savegame that can easily meet npcs at the moment.
