Laser sight attachments were only cosmetics....so far...but not anymore.
Auto Beam tries to calculate the trajectory of the bullet using player or NPC's aiming direction and make the laser sight attachments actually point at the predicted point.
It will try to find laser sight attachments on your guns (or npc's guns) using some general rules that most of laser sight meshes share and adjust them to match with your crosshair.
However, there might be some outliers. In these cases, you might need to patch your nif by following the guide below.
