About:
This mod ports nearly all ballistic weapon sounds from MW2019. Sounds were ported as accurately as possible within the limitations of Fallout 4's engine. Sounds are layered in real-time making each gunshot unique. Layers include but are not limited to, gunfire "bang", mechanical foley, low frequency "thump", environmental atmospheric tails/reflections, bullet case ejection per caliber(pistol, rifle, large caliber, shotgun).

F.A.Q Frequently asked questions
Q: Why do some guns sound strange/wrong/nothing like in Modern Warfare? A: There are multiple contributing factors.
Fallout 4 handles RPM very differently than Modern Warfare.
Fallout 4 weapon mods often don't match the fire rate values of their Modern Warfare equivalents.
Modern Warfare's audio engine is more sophisticated, being able to handle more layers of sounds and more conditional sounds based on environment, surroundings, ammunition count, # of rounds fired, weapon firing mechanism type, and more.
Modern Warfare has audio equalization settings that emphasize or deemphasize low and high frequencies. The sounds recreated in this mod may be different depending on what equalization setting you are used to hearing in Modern Warfare. The sounds in this mod mods closely matches the "Home Theater Mix" or the "Boost" equalization preset in Modern Warfare.
Q: Why do the suppressed weapon sounds sound nothing like MW2019? A: I don't know. I used the exact assets for suppressed sounds and if you mix them in an audio editor they still won't sound like they do in MW2019. My guess is that there is additional audio processing done in-engine by MW2019 to get it to sound the way it does in-game. Author Notes September 18, 2022 - Since this mod doesn't use sampled audio or looping for 99% of the weapons, Automatic gunfire does not sound 1:1 when compared to MW(2019). However, in my opinion it sounds more similar to the automatic gunfire from MWII(2022). The M4 in particular. This may be entirely subjective though.
