OVERVIEW
This small mod (an esp that is flagged as an esl so that it won't count against your load order) gives a slight radiation resistance buff to the Standard and Recon helmets from Infinite Armory by Kelcken, and it also makes those helmets act as gas masks to protect you from the particulate damage of acid rain and other inclement weathers of the Advanced Needs by FlashyJoeR.
TECHNICAL STUFF
INSTALLATION
In my testing, both helmets worked no matter what paint scheme they had or what attachments they had. If you find an exception, let me know.

TECHNICAL STUFF
- An esl flagged esp that won't count against your plugin limit
- Script free
- Works with the Standard and Recon helmets and their variants (12 in total). Does not work with the helmet kit or officer's cap. (head canon - the Standard and Recon helmets have balaclavas and visors, which could in theory seal the helmet except for intake filters)
- Increases the radiation resistance of those same helmets from 10 to 15, to be consistent with the vanilla gas masks
- Under the hood, the periodic damage you get from bad weather in AN76 is from "ingestibles" that have certain conditions that will negate them. I just added the helmets to the list of conditions.
- Does not cause the Endurance and AP Regeneration debuffs that you could get from vanilla gas masks (assuming you have that enabled). After all, these are state of the art combat helmets, not flimsy rubbers hoods based on WW1 technology.
INSTALLATION
- Download and install Infinite Armory
- Download and install Advanced Needs 76. Go to the AN76 MCM to enable the damage from inclement weathers
- Be sure to endorse both of those great mods!!!
- Download and install this mod. It needs to load anywhere after the other two. Follow the instructions on those mods for how and where they should be installed in your load order.
- Enjoy your game!
